IGNITE National is a national nonprofit and nonpartisan political organization dedicated to engaging more women in politics through education, programming, training, and campaigning. IGNITE is a movement of young women who will be the next generation of political leaders
To expand this movement, IGNITE recruits politically active local leaders across the U.S. to be part of their fellowship program. IGNITE Fellows are a passionate cohort of women who organize their communities towards institutional change. Every year IGNITE provides their fellows with resources, training, and networks to mobilize young women to become politically engaged. Fellows serve as ambassadors for IGNITE’s mission and help spread the national message that it's time for historically underserved and underrepresented individuals to embrace their political power.
From August 2020 to June 2021, I served as the Seattle Fellow for IGNITE, representing the city of Seattle and the state of Washington more broadly. Below are a series of my favorite events and campaigns I was part of facilitating throughout my time as an IGNITE Fellow.
